On the 314th edition of the program, we'll feature some interesting collaborations between Afro-Cuban pianist Omar Sosa and artists from Ethiopia and Kenya. We'll also hear some musical, political poetry by Antonis Antoniou from Cyprus; some hot Latin pop from Spanish singer Amparanoia, Brazilian ensemble Luedji Luna; a trio from France, Burkina Faso and Chile called Komasi, contemporary folk by L'Alba from Corsica. Modern dance music from Ikoqwe, originally from Angola, Alostmen from Ghana, David Walters from NYC via Martinique, and a look back on the 1989s in Somalia with 4 Mars.

The 300th edition of RootsWorld Radio is my first "isolation" show, and I am taking some liberties from the usual musical format to add a few cheery pop songs. So in addition to global folk and jazz, we'll hear from The Henrys, Nick Lowe, Brave Combo and Cake.
